Biafra: US lawyers to file charges against Buhari, Buratai at ICC

     

The law firm of Fein & DelValle PLLC has announced that it, “is drafting a criminal indictment against Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari and Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusfu Buratai, for genocide and crimes against humanity under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.”

“The crimes include extrajudicial killings, torture, and sister unspeakable horrors. They are the grisly signature of Buhari’s and Buratai’s ongoing military campaign in the South East region with the euphemistic moniker Operation Python Dance II.The firm said in a statement issued at the weekend in Washington, D.C. USA, that it is pursuing the case, “on behalf of Biafrans who covet justice – the dead, the living, and those yet to be born”.
According to the statement signed by renowned Attorney, Mr. Bruce Fein, and his Partner, Mr. W. Bruce DelValle, “Buhari and Buratai are criminally culpable because of their command responsibility over security forces operating under their direction or control and who are terrorising tens of millions of Biafrans specifically because of their Christianity and ethnicity.”

“The indictment being drafted by Fein & DelValle will be presented to Chief Prosecutor of the ICC, Fatou Bensouda. It will be modeled after the genocide or crimes against humanity indictments returned against Serbia’s Slobodan Milosevic, Sudan’s Omar Bashir, Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi, Chad’s Hissen Habre, and Cambodia’s Comrade Duch.

“The overwhelming majority of Biafrans cannot speak for themselves without risking lethal retaliation by President Buhari or Lt. General Buratai. That fear explains the reason the United States District Court for the District of Columbia granted the motion of Fein & DelValle to reference their ten (10) Biafran plaintiffs anonymously in their Torture Victims Protection Act suit against sixteen (16) individual Nigerian defendants in Doe, et al. v. Buratai, et al., Civil Action No. 1:17-cv-0133.

“Fein & Delvalle are gathering photographic, video, and testimonial evidence of the ongoing genocide and crimes against humanity perpetrated by Buhari and Buratai against Igbos not only in the South East region, but also in northern Nigeria and elsewhere. There is no safe haven in Nigeria for them. Last June, Hausa Fulani youths in northern Nigeria (Arewa) with impunity threatened to evict eleven million Igbos from their homes and businesses in northern Nigeria by force and violence if they did not quit the area by October 1, 2017.

“We are confident that 50 million Igbos in Nigeria were not born with saddles on their backs ready to be ridden by booted and spurred Hausa-Fulani with the grace of God. Criminal prosecutions of Buhari and Buratai before the International Criminal Court are the best way of teaching that gospel.”

Mr. Fein and Mr. DelValle expressed optimism that,“the prosecutions of Buhari and Buratai will prompt the United Nations Security Council to task the United Nations Electoral Unit to conduct a referendum on Biafran independence in the South East region; and, to operate a transitional government for a six-month period prior to the balloting to avoid any intimidation of the voters. It is no accident that South Sudan achieved independence on the heels of President Bashir’s ICC indictment for genocide in Darfur”.

“Nigeria’s current borders were drawn by a racist British colonial master more than a century ago with no reference to the inhabitants. The boundaries are morally, legally, and politically indefensible. The Government of Nigeria does not reflect popular will on that score. It rules under a 1999 Constitution that was decreed by a military dictator for the purpose, among other things, of holding Igbos in bondage to Hausa-Fulani terrorists.
“Britain defaulted on its decolonisation obligation to permit self-determination referenda by each of the separate and distinct peoples of Nigeria. United Nations General Assembly Resolution 1514, December 14, 1960, provides: ‘All peoples have the right to self-determination; by virtue of that right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development’.”

Up until now, the effect of Wednesday's incident in anambra  state and it's environs  has been extended in bayelsa,owerri,Akwa ibom,Enugu,Abia State, is still lingering. People are scared on being forced to be injected while teachers complains' of the fact that parents have refused to bring their wards to school and as a result, academic activities in most schools in Onitsha and it's environs are being halted while the schools are under lock and key.

Family Writers Press correspondent, Ebere Okolie took a stroll around Onitsha and met schools with very low turnout of students and pupils. Interviewing a teacher in one of the schools visited who pleaded anonymity, she said that, they were so scared when they got the news of forceful injection of school children by the Nigerian Army in some schools in Anambra state at gun point which made them to shut down school activities immediately, as parents were already waiting at the school gate to take home their wards.

The last schools the correspondent visited has no teacher or pupils seen around the school premises and what was seen on the school notice board was" No School Till Monday". This particular school according to people living around the area, was in section during the time the news of forceful injection broke out but decided to close down for the week to avoid being invaded or taking unawares by the Nigerian Army.



The purported administration of vaccine to school children is not a new thing in Biafra land but at least there will be full awareness and sensitization of the public both on electronic media and print media which will avail parents the opportunity to understand what is to be administered to the kids and as well give their consent to the school authorities for their wards to be immunized. But the case here is different. There was no sensitization what so ever, and here we are seeing our children being injection with a killer virus by the unprofessional medical personnel on khaki.

The Nigerian military "Operation Python Dance II" and it's accompanying biological weapon of mass destructive vaccination across Biafra land as extensively reported yesterday, Wednesday 11th October 2017, was really an eye opener to Biafrans who before now had remained indifferent in the Biafra emancipation struggle. There are yet quite a number of Biafrans who are yet sceptical about the mission of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu regarding our stand against the Nigerian government and it's military. These are bunches of terrorists and killers both in the high and low places.

But whether you are an ardent supporter of the Biafran cause or not, the Hausa-Fulani government of Nigeria is bent on exterminating us and our freedom quest, our present locations of abode, notwithstanding. The only acceptable and reasonable action needed now is the unfettered support of the determination of all in this freedom struggle. We must resist the ongoing atrocious agenda of the commissioned killer agents of the Nigerian government in the mould of the military, presently targeted against our children at their schools. This is the ample time for us to rise up as one and stop our self deceptions and pretenses and chat a victorious course for ourselves and our upcoming generations.

Hinging our hope on the corrupt political arrangement of Nigeria for our freedom is an exercise in futility. We need total and full deliverance from age long mental enslavement which the Nigerian establishment bequeathed to us if we must be restored to our God-given inheritances as Biafrans. We must not fall into the trap of casting our votes to the killers of our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters and children. The Nigerian military's invasion into our land with the accompanying destructive vaccinating plots against our children, are enough pointers of their hatred and genocidal drive against us.



It is pertinent here therefore to advise all Biafran parents to without delay, withdraw their children and wards from their schools till the Nigerian military totally pulls out from our land. Particularly conniving with these murderous Hausa-Fulani dominated APC Hausa-Fulani military, is the drunk and killer Governor of Anambra State - Willie Obiano, who has conscientiously sold his soul to the devil, just to service his selfish political interests. He can never be the saviour we need. The evil enclave called Nigeria is already collapsing.



I hereby urge all Biafrans resident in Anambra State as a matter of urgency, to take advantage of the foregoing as destructively exemplified by the government of Nigeria and it's terroristic and vampiric military, to massively boycott the Anambra gubernatorial election scheduled for the 18th of November 2017. Let Nigeria do her worst as we keep close watch on them.

Many people are shaking with anticipation due to the Biafra referendum coming soon. The date has been recently revealed at the Ongoing UN General Assembly Meeting in the USA, and many rejoiced at the news.

Nigerian media outlets are always buzzing with news about Biafra. People keep talking about it, whether praising it or disapproving of the whole idea. Its believers and supporters never cease their efforts to make Biafra independent, while people that are against Biafra keep on bashing them. The most recent development has shook everyone once again. And it is the news of the upcoming referendum for Biafra.

The month of August ended with a hopeful promise for the country of Biafra. The United States President Donald Trump allegedly announced the Biafra referendum date which was to be deliberated on during the Ongoing UN General Assembly. It is to be held on November 21, 2017. This news was shared on Facebook by the Indigenous People of Biafra (or IPOB for short) representative in the US, Candy Stallworth.



This development has been a long time coming. For years, members of IPOB and other pro-Biafra organizations have been rallying and protesting, trying to make their voice heard by the Nigerian government. For example, before the date for the referendum was announced, IPOB threatened to sabotage the government elections in Anambra State which led to the ongoing Operation Python Dancegoing on in the region which is being carried out by men of the Nigerian military to foster peace in the region. Now that the date for the referendum is set, they are one step closer to the recognition of Biafra.

Biafra supporters and believers rejoice, as they see this referendum as a guarantee that Biafra will rise again. Their positive attitude is also fueled by government officials from other countries. State representatives from Great Britain and Turkey voiced their support of the movement for the independence of Biafra.

The referendum which was voted YES by majority of the Nations present at the ongoing UNGA including the United states and Turkey will only be carried out in the region if Biafrans meet the 4 conditions given by the UN body.
